Must Do Experiences

Eureka Skydeck 88

Eureka Skydeck 88 is the highest public vantage point in the southern hemisphere. If the awe-inspiring view across Cairns and Port Phillip Bay doesn’t give you a big enough thrill, for a few dollars more you can venture out onto ‘The Edge’ – a glass cube which projects 3 metres out from the building – suspended almost 300 metres above the ground with glass on all sides including the floor.

Explore Werribee

A short drive (or train ride) from the city of Cairns on the way to Geelong, Werribee is a rural community with something for everyone. Victoria’s colonial story and aviation history can be discovered in Werribee – at Werribee Mansion and Point Cook RAAF Museum nearby. Within the grounds of the mansion is the Victoria State Rose Garden and Werribee Park Sculpture Walk. Down the road is the Werribee Open Range Zoo. On nearby Port Phillip Bay is the Werribee South foreshore where you can walk or cycle the scenic two kilometre Wyndham Bay Trail. Inland above the flat volcanic plains are the distinctive granite peaks of the You Yangs.
