Australia For Everyone is a privately run website about Australia with a travel and tourism focus. Our aim to provide both the resident and visitor with information about Australia, and what it has to offer as a travel or holiday destination, with suggestions on how to make their journey or holiday more enjoyable and rewarding. Its editors, Stephen Yarrow and Christine J Hind, share about places they've been to, journeys they've made and things they've done in their travels around Australia.
Stephen is a local, Christine a visitor from Canada who first came to Australia in 2007-8 on a year-long visit as a backpacker, so they were able to present that information from two perspectives - that of a local who knows about all the great destinations that aren't on the regular tourist tracks, and that of a visitor who wants to know what Australia has to offer within their fields of interest, and how to see as much of it as possible within a limited amount of time and on a limited budget.
The website includes links to many other websites to provide readers with the opportunity to gather further information on a particular travel service or destination. As our lives become busier and busier, we mortals need a variety of ways to cope with the resulting pressures. One of the best ways is by seeking, and enjoying, solitude. There are many destinations around Australia that are conducive to solitude. It might be a treehouse in a tropical rainforest; or a beach that stretches off into the horizon, and you are the only person on it; perhaps the barren wilderness of a high mountainous region or a pocket of suburban bushland in one of Australia's capital cities. 
Because of its size and diversity, Australia has an amazing variety of journeys that can be embarked upon, and few come close to rail travel if you want to the countryside at close range with a minimum of stress and effort. Each of the state governments operate rail services that offer a variety of rail travel options to suit every budget and requirement - be the traveller a local visiting relatives and friends in another town, or an overseas traveller wishing to explore rural Australia. 
Take a cruise along the coast of the West Kimberley region of WA and you are likely to have an encounter with a Tawny Nurse Shark. When cruise vessels drop anchor for the night in Talbot Bay, these nocturnal creatures of the deep come up to the vessels hoping for a feed or a friendly pat from the passengers on board. Growing up to 2 metres, the tawny nurse shark like the ones encountered at Talbot Bay is an usually docile variety.
