UK and Europe, 2018
Join Stephen and Rona Yarrow, and Steve and Debbie Hall, as they trek around England, Wales and Scotland during September 2018. In the first week of October they take the ferry to Amsterdam, then travel by train through Germany, Austria and Switzerland on their way to northern Italy. There's a lot to see in a very short time, but somebody has to do it!

The Big Adventure, 2014
In September 2014, Rona and I made our first trip back to England since leaving there as youngsters. This blog follows our journey through England, Wales and Scotland, followed by a week in Northern Italy. It was written as a blog, and therefore is presented back to front - the first page is the last place we visited and the last page is the first place.
UK and Europe, 2016
Join Rona, Mark and I as we travel the United Kingdom during the month of September 2016. On 8th October, we will take an overnight ferry to Amsterdam to begin a whirlwind trek across Europe. Using rail passes, we will be visiting Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Florence, Venice, Zurich, Munich, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest.
Migrating to Australia, 1960
In June 1960, my family and I embarked on the journey of a lifetime when we migrated from Leeds, England to begin a new life in Audstralia. We had been granted Assisted Passage, in which ensabled us to travel to Australia by ship at the cost of just ten pounds per person. We became what were known as Ten Pound Poms. This diary documents our journey.
