The opportunity to get behind the wheel of a V8 race-ready Holden or Ford is now available at one of six championship race tracks around Australia. Before they take the seat in their car, participants are given a full drivers briefing - how to drive a high performance car, how to find your race line, how to master late cornering and high pressure braking, gear changes, circuit layout and safety.
Then it's zipping up a race suit and heading to the pits to choose between a Ford or Holden V8. One they are strapped in, it's out on the track driving your car full tilt with an in-car coach.
Those who prefer to experience the exhilaration of hurtling around a championship race track, but without doing the driving can take a V8 racing car ride. Participants can go it alone or take two mates – an experienced industry race driver does all the hard work, participants just go along for the ride.
Numerous options are available, depending on what you want and how much you are prepared to pay. Race days are held at locations around the country.

Platinum Pass Drive
Includes: 7 Laps driving, pre-drive tuition, use of race suit & helmet, choice of Ford or Holden and personal in-car coach. $399
Gold Pass Drive
Includes: 5 Laps driving, pre-drive tuition, use of race suit & helmet, choice of Ford or Holden and personal in-car coach. $299
Front Seat Race Ride (3 Laps)
Includes: 3 Laps Riding in the front seat of a V8Race car with an experienced race driver, safety briefing, use of race suit & helmet and choice of Ford or Holden V8Race car. $149
Back Seat Race Ride (3 Laps)
Includes: 3 Laps Riding in the back seat of a V8Race car with an experienced race driver, safety briefing, use of race suit & helmet and choice of Ford or Holden V8Race car. $99
