Destinations: WINE FESTIVALS

The wineries and wine growers associations of Australia are not backward in coming forward to promote the fruit of their vines, and often do so by means of special event Festivals. They have a reputation for linking up with other local producers, restaurants and cafes and turning on a really good, fun show, often with high quality entertainment. A small cover change is sometimes asked for to help offset expenses, but you always get good value for your dollar. These are some of the wine festivals we've attended and found to be worth writing home about.
