Dubbo and the Zoo

There are plenty of other towns and places of interest in the region to visit, so if you like you can turn your weekend getaway into a longer holiday. You can add as many destinations as you like, utilising the day tours from Dubbo to Narromine, Wellington, Parkes, Coonabarabran or Gilgandra, not to mention the black opal mining town of Lightning Ridge. The Coonabarabran tour includes a visit to Warrumbungle National Park, home of the extinct Warrumbungle volcano, and the Siding Springs Obervatory, both of which are visited.
