Seahorse World provides a unique insight into the mystical, intriguing and lovable seahorse from birth, in a working farm. When touring the working aquarium you will be accompanied by informative guides providing an educational experience. At Seahorse World visitors are also introduced to the Weedy Sea Dragons and other endangered species. A number of hands-on tanks allow children and adults to pick up seahorses,star fish etc.
The guided tour of the facility gives a unique glimpse into a commercial seahorse farm that is also a tourist attraction. There are in fact only five seahorse farms in the world and this was the first, so it quite unique.

Seahorse World is at Beauty Point, which is 6 km south of Beaconsfield, 47 km north west of Launceston, 244 km north of Hobart.
