Tolmer Falls
The main falls, over which Tolmer Creek cascades from the Tabletop Range into a gorge below, are 70 metres high. The walls of this gorge have many caves and tunnels, which provide homes for the numerous bats that live in this area. A lookout built on the edge of the gorge rim overlooks Tolmer Falls and the lower gorge. A walk to the upper reaches of the Tolmer Gorge starts just before the lookout for Tolmer Falls.

Wangi Falls
Wangi Falls is the largest and most popular attraction in the park, with a large grassed picnic area and toilets. Access to the plunge pool is easy with steps provided. Wangi Falls is a registered sacred site that is used by the local aboriginal women. Swimming is allowed here, but restrictions apply during the wet season once the water reaches a preset level.

Florence Falls
The only major waterfall on the eastern face of the Tabletop Range although many small creeks flow off this side of the range. A short walk from the car park brings you to a lookout over the gorge with excellent views of Florence Falls and the contrast between the wet monsoon forest and the dry sandstone plateau. A walking path follows the gorge rim from the rim-top lookout to a series of stairs (135 steps) descending to the valley floor. After the descent the walkway crosses Florence Creek, a tranquil stretch of water flowing through the rainforest. A short walk leads to the plunge pool.

Tjanera Falls
This waterfall (also known as Sandy Creek Falls) is accessible by 4WD only. A small campground is available with toilets and showers. There is approximately 1.4kms walk to the pool at the base of the falls. The car park is on the site of a timber cutting camp used during the mid 1900's when Paperbark & Cypress was cut as Mill Timber.

Surprise Falls
This waterfall is the most southern falls on the 4WD track to Daly River Road. A small camp ground is also available. A walk of approximately 300 metres from the carpark to a series of rockholes linked with small waterfall.

Robin Falls
An attractive three-tiered waterfall to the east of Litchfield National Park. This waterfall is seasonal so there is no point visiting it during the dry season. The car park for the falls is at the end of a short spur that is best suited to 4wd vehicles.

Edith Falls
Leliyn / Edith Falls is located on the western side of Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge). Swimming is permitted in the paperbark and pandanus fringed natural pool at the base of the falls most of the year. There is a kiosk and camping facilities at the locality. Walking trails lead to other numerous rock pools and the waterfalls in the area.
Location: off Stuart Highway 42km north of Katherine, then a further 19km.


Seventeen Mile Falls
One of the lesser known attractions and waterfalls in the Katherine/Nitmiluk National Park region. A hidden gem, it can only be accessed by trekkers 28km along the Jatbula Trail. This trail is located in Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) and is a one way 58km walk from Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) to Leliyn / Edith Falls that takes from four to five days to complete.

Biddlecombe Cascades
This is a popular spot on the Jatbula Trail for having a dip. A series of shaded pools are linked by cascades descending into the westward-facing gorge, letting you choose your personal pristine jacuzzi with a view.
There is a campsite, barbecues and toilets at the falls. 9km away is Crystal Falls. The Crystal Falls area is a mass of rockpools and rapids and small waterfalls, falling away into the abyss that is Crystal falls.

rom Biddlecombe Cascades. The Crystal Falls area is a mass of rockpools and rapids and small waterfalls, falling away into the abyss that is Crystal falls.

Beswick Falls
Beswick Falls is not far from the local Aboriginal Community of Beswick who are custodians of the falls area. Here, Waterhouse River plunges over red rocks that was once an ancient seabed, into a huge pool. Opposite the falls is a sandy beach.
